Release the Kracken!! I mean the BackerKit Survey!!!!!!

Ok! Our Smoke Test has gone very well! We caught an issue with the shipping rates for Add-Ons and got that resolved so I think we are good to go!! I am going to release the rest of the Surveys now so expect to see them today.
A few notes:
- If you are a Backer (Even for $1!) you can choose to Add-On copies of the Game for $29 a copy plus the shipping (Base shipping to your Region + small incremental fee / additional copy).
- If you know someone that wants a copy but did NOT back the campaign they can Pre-Order a copy for $35 a copy plus the shipping (Base shipping to your Region + small incremental fee / additional copy). Here is the link - Pre-Orders
- You can update your delivery address in BackerKit until we are ready to start sending out the games which currently looks like Early to Mid August.
- The maximum number of copies you can put into a single order is 6. After that shipping costs can get pretty weird. If you wish to order more than 6 copies send us a note at [email protected] and we will work with you to create a custom order.

BackerKit Survey is almost done!

All,
Many of you have anxiously been awaiting the BackerKit Survey. We have been working on getting it all set up so that you can order additional copies of Dogs should you choose to do so. I have in the process of doing this learned more than I ever wished to know about Shipping and Logistics but now feel like I can not only create BackerKit Surveys but also be available for Birthday Parties and Bar Mitzvahs! Lemme tell you Shipping Tables are FUN kids! ;-)
Earlier today I released a "smoke test". Roughly 2% of Backers received their Survey. This allows us to see if there are any issues or problems with the setup and address them before we let everyone have access. If you received your Survey today please take a moment and fill it out and let us know if you have any issues. You can reach us at [email protected].
For those that did not receive a Survey today, fear not. As soon as everything looks good with the Smoke Test we will send it out to all backers so you will have it by this weekend most likely.
I also wanted to note that we have set up a Pre-Order capability as well. This is for those folks who did not participate in the KickStarter but still want a copy for their collection. I will be broadcasting that URL shortly. Be aware though that the Pre-Order cost of the base game is higher than what you, our beloved Backers are getting it for so it is cheaper to Add-On additional copies to your Backer Pledge at $29 than purchase a Pre-Order copy at $35. Being an early supporter has it's benefits ;-)
We have also heard from the Printer that our proof copy of the game is on it's way! We should have it by early next week and if everything looks good we will OK the Printer to release the games to the Shipper. We will post up pics of the proofs so you guys can get a sneak peek of what your copies are going to look like!
Quick Update on the Backer Survey and new Dog Stories

All,
Just a quick update to let everyone know that the BackerKit Survey is being reviewed and should be on it's way to everyone Monday or Tuesday of this week.
We should be getting final proofs from the printer this week and if everything looks good we will be proceeding to prepping the games for shipment! We have been working with our logistics partner and they are ready to pick up the games as soon as they are ready. We won't have a firm date for delivery until we actually get put into a container and placed on a ship but we will let you know as soon as those details become available.
Finally, Gary continues to collect some amazing stories about the dogs our Backers have adopted into their families. He has updated the PDF will all these and I have uploaded it to the cloud. You can find it here:

One of the amazing things that happened as part of this project was something that we never really planned. As part of the named Pledge Levels we started receiving stories about the Dogs that people were naming their pledges after. These are amazing stories and as we went along Gary encouraged people to send these stories in to us, and you did. He has complied all those submitted and put them together into a PDF. These have been copied over as they were submitted without any editing. There are some amazing and heart warming tales in here and we felt that there was no room or need for editorial modification.

Printing is Progressing Nicely!!!!!

Folks,
We had an update from the Printer overnight and it looks like they have completed printing the Boards! Woo Hoo! There is still several pieces that have to come together for the game to be ready to ship AND we have not seen the actual printing results (we will double check to make sure everything printed fine and the materiel looks good, etc.) but barring any issues around those we are likely to have the games ready to get on a ship in mid-June. We are coordinating with the Shipper and will have a better estimate of arrival times to the distribution points when we get closer to delivery of the printed games to Shanghai.
