This week we received sample bags from the Printer.  These are the bags that are going to ship with the game so we were very excited to see them.  Here is a picture!

 These are satin bags in Blue and Green (matches the City and Country Dog colors) and they are of very nice quality.  These are the same as what we have been using on our prototype copies and we had gotten used to that look and feel and wanted to make sure you had a similar experience.  We think you are going to love them!

We are waiting to hear from the Printer about an ETA for completing the Printing, We know we are in the queue, we just want to be able to share with you when the actual printing is targeted for completion.  Once they are printed we will have them shipped to the docks and then we wait as they make their journey to their distribution points!

Many of you have been asking about the BackerKit Survey.  It has not been sent out so do not worry, you did not miss it.  I will be finalizing it this week and sending it out so you can order additional copies of the game if you like as well as validate your address.

All,

Apologies for the long pause on updates.  We have been busy closing out the pledges, collecting dog names and getting everything off to the Printer in China. 

We took a little longer to get all the dog names than we had originally planned for but we wanted to make absolutely sure we got everyone's pledges correct.   We also had to do a couple of rounds of checking proofs with the Printer to make sure those names appeared on the right dogs as well so again..  a little longer than we had planned for but it is important to catch errors early in this process.

So all the proofs have checked out, we have sent the first payment to the Printer and we are in the production queue!  It is looking like we may actually get scheduled for printing within the next couple of weeks which would be fantastic!   We will update you all again as soon as we get a hard date when they are going to run the game and are hoping for some pics from the printer so you can see your game as it gets printed and assembled!

I will be working on the BackerKit surveys this week so you will be able to make additional orders if you are so inclined.  Keep an eye out for that in the next week or so!

Holy Smokes.   We finished STRONG last night coming in over $50K.  That is absolutely amazing!!!  This is all due to you!  You supported us, you said Yes to this Game!  You rallied for each of the Stretch Goals and you told friends and they came!  You asked questions, you requested things and we responded when we realized that we could do something better.  This is the magic that is Crowd Funding, and we are just so thrilled to have been on this journey with you!   Thank you!  Bask in the glow of that accomplishment!!!

Ok..   You keep doing that..  We have work to do!  Now we get to work on getting this game in your hands safe and sound.  First of all we are in the process of collecting the funds.  The vast majority cleared last night but some did not. Hopefully we can get those cleared up as quickly as possible.  Once that is done we can send out the survey for those who chose the Names Pledge Level and we can collect your Dog Names and Locations.  We will need this to be able to finalize the Dog Tags and send them over to the Printer.  Everything else is ready to go so we should have this in the print queue very quickly!

We will also be using BackerKit to help with order management.  Once we get the files to the printer we will send out a survey to everyone that will confirm your pledge level and allow you to purchase additional copies, figure out your shipping costs, etc.  For retailers you can order additional copies this way, for folks that want to do a group order you can also use this mechanism, if you just REALLY wanted to decorate your room with Dogs games you will be able to do that!

Once we ship if there are issues with the Game you receive we will make sure we rectify that.  Sometimes things happen in shipping, sometimes there are issues with the components, we have experienced this ourselves.  We want you to be completely thrilled with your choice to support Dogs so we have extra copies and components and will make sure that all backers are happy!

IF you just found out about this campaign and missed participation in it, fear not.  Although you can't be part of the super cool kids club that all the backers belong too now, you can get still enhance your cool factor massively.  Once we get everyone their copies safe and sound we will be offering copies for sale on our Web Site ( http://graymassgames.com ).  You can follow us on Twitter or Facebook and we will let you know when they become available.  We are also hoping to have some copies make it out to retail stores but we do not have any commitments from Distributors on that yet so stay tuned,

Wow everyone!   Thank you so very much for all the support!  We crossed the 45K goal mark today which will allow us to improve the stock on the Player Boards!  All the upgrades we have achieved are going to make a great game into something really and truly amazing!  Thank you!

This has been such a fun campaign and Gary and I are so thankful for all the support and great suggestions you as a community have provided.  We are so excited about getting this game in the hands of you our supporters!

As we come to the close of the campaign I wanted to let you all know what you can expect in the next few days.  When the campaign closes later this week we will quickly send out a survey that will allow you to specify your Dog Names if you selected Named Dog pledge level as well as specify if you want any additional copies.  Also for those that were asking for shipping rates for multiple copies this will allow you to figure that out and specify how many you would like to receive.  

After we have collected that information and all funds get collected we can do the final update of the files and send them to the printer and then we start the production process.  We will be updating you on how that is progressing so you will know how we are tracking for fulfillment.  Once we get close to shipping, we will re-confirm your shipping details and make sure we have the right address to send your game to.  

Once we get the games sent out we are going to ask for folks to share their experiences playing that game on our Facebook and Twitter accounts.  We are dying to see where Dogs ends up and see folks having fun playing it around the world!
